REM operates in clinical analysis and blood bank segments providing products applied to in vitro diagnostics and to transfusion safety, such as ELISA and CLIA kits and processors for serology; testing and equipment for Testing of Nucleic Acids; reagents and instruments for urine analysis; products for quality control and others. In its GMP plant REM currently produces kits for serological screening for Chagas disease and HTLV-I/II, rapid tests, culture media and RT-PCR assays. The entire production process closely follows the standards of Good Manufacturing Practices, given the strict criteria of existing validation.
